A bit about me

Hi! I'm Michael, a Motion Designer and Video Editor based in South London and previously an intern for CNN International, where I contributed to an Emmy award-winning series of animations. I’m experienced in motion, video and graphic design and have a good knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud. I have strong typography and composition skills.

I specialise in 2D motion projects, but also have some 3D experience through modelling, lighting and animating inside of Cinema 4D.

Tools of choice are After Effects, Illustrator, Premiere Pro and Photoshop, but I’m always ready to jump into learning something new to improve as a designer and to keep my skills relevant. I previously studied fundamental 3D techniques in School of Motion’s Cinema 4D Basecamp course.

I’m comfortable applying my strong design and technical skills to a variety of tasks, including graphic design, audio/SFX editing, photo editing and producing social media content. I’ve previously worked in digital marketing for an international publisher, as well as design and social media management for an award-winning lighting design firm, so I’m certainly capable of adapting to a range of working environments.
